Work Integrated Learning (WIL) at UNSW enables students to work directly with industry and community partners for credit towards their degree.

The WIL Central team collaborates and supports Faculties in designing and scaling WIL opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students, including sourcing industry and community partnerships

The team works with key University stakeholders to provide high level advice and support to students, staff and partner organisations to enable and foster compliance with the UNSW WIL Procedure, other relevant polices and government legislation and regulations.

WIL Central facilitates multi-disciplinary opportunities including a General Education project-based WIL course CDEV3000 Practice of Work and leads the whole of-University WIL Community of Practice. They also manage UNSW Advantage, the official accreditation body that assesses co-curricular activities and professional development opportunities undertaken by students throughout the university for inclusion on participants' Australian Higher Education Graduate Statement (AHEGS).
